MITA is on the move to deliver activities and programs that will challenge our citizens, inspire our future leaders and encourage meaningful interaction.
Save the Park
Our parish is fortunate to have a premium outdoors attraction with Chemin-A-Haut State Park, a destination for visitors across the country. MITA is committed to making sure the park continues to receive the government and private support it deserves.
Physical Fitness
MITA is heavily involved in a number of popular recreational and athletic programs and events that help promote wellness and physical fitness throughout our community, including the Chemin-A-Haut 4-Mile Trail Run and Walk, and May Madness.
Education
We stand strong as passionate and enthusiastic supporters of quality educational opportunities that help in developing our future leaders, including elementary through secondary levels and Louisiana Delta Community College.
